Rose has a unique career trajectory. In addition to over 25 years of managing a successful coaching and training practice across two continents, she has held key management roles in the corporate world, working for large organizations such as American Express and UNICEF, while at the same time achieving entrepreneurial success as Co-Founder and COO of Scharper Pharmaceuticals. When she sold it in 2011, Scharper was one of the most successful independent pharmaceutical companies in Italy and had garnered widespread industry recognition.
The heart of Rose’s ability to bring distinctive value to clients is her knack for combining expertise in managing critical and strategic business issues with skill in bringing about personal and organizational transformation. Rose empowers her clients to be their most powerful and authentic selves by learning to be resilient to both stress and internal conflicts, gaining clarity about their goals, and becoming strategic about their leadership behavior in a meaningful and inspirational way.
Having lived and been educated in India, Indonesia, Somalia, the United States, and Italy, Rose is at home in many cultures. She has an active international practice and is a professionally fluid and experienced creator and leader of strategy-based leadership development programs across diverse cultures and nationalities. She has taught at Columbia University Business School (New York, USA), SDA Bocconi School of Management, (Milan, Italy) and University of Milano – Bicocca, (Milan, Italy). She also collaborates with the CIS/Corno Center for Entrepreneurial Studies, (Lecco, Italy) to build a more robust training program for northern Italian entrepreneurs.
Rose is a member of the prestigious Forbes Coaches Council, contributes regularly to Forbes.com and serves as Senior Consultant to Executive Development Associates. She has an MBA in Marketing and Management from Columbia University (USA) and a BA in Economics and International Relations from Brown University (USA). She is a Results Trained Coach (Neuroleadership Institute) and is also certified in Emotionally Intelligent Leadership (Case Western University) and Social Styles (Tracom Intl.). Rose is an active member of the International Leadership Association and the Neuroleadership Institute.
